"Bootleg Epiphanies"

not on label - 2007

CDr - 123 copies

Rajapïnta is the moniker indicating live collaborations between Niko Skorpio and Ibrahim Terzic, two notorious artists (Niko being the founder as well) from Finnish label Some Place Else. "Bootleg Epiphanies" comes as an official not-on-label release, a black professional CDr inside a bizarre 7" cover, that is actually a residue sleeve for the Reptiljan / Ibrahim Terzic split single with a large sticker on it. Just 123 hand-numbered copies are available.

The disc contains 14 tracks of different length, all faithful to a cold and clinic approach to minimal, distorted and uncompromising electronics. There is enough variety of style between them to assure an interesting listening experience: extreme noise alternates to creepy ambient, power-electronics shifts into pulsating rhythms, walls of industrial frequencies move into hypnotic mantras of distortion.

Due to the strictly limited edition and the challenging nature of the music, "Bootleg Epiphanies" is a release obviously aimed to the collectors of industrial oddities and bizarre underground items.
